Kristi Cortina

(She, Her, Hers)

International Board Certified Lactation Consultant

BIO:

Kristi is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, public health professional, Marine Corps veteran, and mother of three. She began supporting breastfeeding families through peer support in 2019 and is the owner of Every Drop Counts Lactation.

Her own experiences navigating breastfeeding challenges inspired her commitment to helping parents receive compassionate, individualized care. Kristi supports families with latch difficulties, low milk supply, pumping, bottle refusal, return-to-work planning, and feeding challenges related to prematurity and infant food allergies.

With a Master of Public Health and additional training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International, Kristi considers both feeding concerns and the emotional well-being of the family. She values inclusive care, bodily autonomy, and informed decision-making, and believes every parent deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported.

Fun Facts:

Kristi’s Favorite 3's: Everything banana flavored, putting cheese on everything, and to be boiling hot rather than freezing cold!

What to expect:

You can expect a warm, direct, and collaborative approach. Kristi takes time to listen, understand your goals, and explain what may be contributing to feeding challenges. Together, you’ll develop a practical plan that fits your baby’s needs and your family’s daily life. Whether you’re preparing to breastfeed or working through an unexpected difficulty, her goal is to help you feel more confident, informed, and supported.
