BIO:

Margie is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of experience caring for premature infants and newborns in level IV NICUs. She earned her nursing degrees from the University of Virginia and brings a strong background in neonatal transition care, newborn education, and family support. As co-founder of NEOwell, Margie works closely with families navigating the newborn period, NICU discharge, and early parenting challenges. Her care is rooted in evidence-based practice, clear communication, and a deep respect for each family’s goals and values.  Margie is a mother of three, including twins born at 28 weeks, and brings both professional expertise and personal perspective to her work with families.
