Birth Doula

BIO:

Alaina is a certified birth doula through the International Doula Institute, looking to further her knowledge through The Matrona to learn more about holistic healing. She believes birth is a very sacred process that deserves encouragement, love and support.

She has always loved caring for children, but her passion for birth ignited at the age of eighteen, during the birth of her two youngest sisters. Assisting her mother with breathing techniques and changing positions sparked a passion and a love that she knew she had to continue. Those experiences showed her how beautiful it is to witness someone bring a life into the world, but also how deeply women need a person to advocate for them during such an overwhelming experience.
