Birth Doula

BIO:

Zina Dolan is a DONA International trained birth doula. She has over a decade of experience in reproductive health advocacy and currently works at the National Women’s Law Center in Washington, DC.

Zina is a graduate of Brown University. She was introduced to the enormous benefits of doulas in a college class with pregnancy expert Emily Oster. Zina is committed to ensuring that people feel supported, respected, and empowered throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. She practices evidence-based, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care. She believes that everyone deserves quality healthcare and supports all births and all families.


Originally from the Midwest, Zina now calls Washington, DC home. In her free time, you’ll find her running in Rock Creek Park or checking out books at the DC Public Library.
