BIO:
Melissa is a board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience caring for premature and critically ill infants in high-acuity NICU settings. She earned her degrees from the University of Colorado, Georgetown University, and The Ohio State University and has worked extensively in Level IV NICUs. As co-founder of NEOwell, Melissa supports families through pregnancy complications, NICU stays, and the transition from hospital to home with evidence-based education and compassionate guidance. She is deeply committed to collaborative, family-centered care and values working alongside doulas and perinatal care teams to provide continuity of support. Melissa is also a mother of three and brings both professional expertise and personal perspective to her work with families.
