Virtual Baby Shower

Pregnancy doesn’t get to reschedule itself in the time of a pandemic.

So many parents-to-be are having to miss out on moments that they have been looking forward to for such a long time. Especially those who have had to go through fertility treatments and pregnancy loss. Maternity and birth photos, introducing your newborn to your family, home cooked meals from your church meal train. And for so many, missing out on your baby shower has been the hardest. We know that zoom showers aren’t the same as being with your loved ones in the same place and feeling their touch, but it’s still an amazing tool that we have access to, to keep us close to our family and friends while being apart. And the bonus of a zoom shower is that our far away loved ones who might not have been able to attend a regular shower, get to be a part of your special day too!

We love the idea of sending your parent-to-be a baby shower in a box.

Collecting some wonderful supplies and sending it to their door so they can decorate their space and feel special without having to be the one to plan it all. We compiled a list of some of our favorite items so that you can put together the perfect box for their special day no matter the theme!

We also made a few free printable games for you to send to your guests because we all know that a baby shower isn’t complete without some baby themed trivia!

Answer Key: G, E, I, H, C, F, J, A, D, B

Answer key: 8, 2, 13, 15, 12, 34, 17, 22

And lastly, while these new parents might be missing the meal trains and home cooked foods, we still wanted them to be able to have access to easy and heartfelt meals from you! So we made up a recipe card for you to write down your favorite freezer meal that is simple and healthy and perfect for parents who might be feeling a little overwhelmed in their first few weeks. Bonus points if you live close enough to drop off food on their doorstep with the recipe attached!
